Some health experts say you should strive to drink up to 2 liters of water per day; others claim the formula of 250 ml (about 8 ounces) per 10 kilograms (about 20 pounds) of body weight is optimal.
Note: there is such a thing as too much water and that condition is called hyponatremia. In this case, the sodium levels in your body are too diluted. While it’s difficult to drink too much water, it is possible so please be careful.

The amount of water you drink is also related to how much you sweat. The more you sweat, the more water you need to drink to replenish what’s lost.
