A Perfect FIT with the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa

This month, we spoke with Tony Nicastro, Director of Spa and Recreation at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. Here’s what Tony had to say about his experience with FIT Bodywrap® at the Agave Spa.


Q: In a nutshell, can you give us an overview of the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa and what type of services a guest can find at your facility?

A: Agave Spa offers the full spectrum of services, including 14 different modalities of massage, facials, body wraps and scrubs, salon services, manicure and pedicure, group and private fitness classes as well as nutritional coaching.

Q: Do you offer concurrent treatments with the FIT Bodywrap at your location?

A: We are currently offering mini facial services that you can book with the FIT Bodywrap.

Q: How does the FIT Bodywrap serve your clients’ needs?

A: We have many guests that are looking to do overall wellness treatments. The FIT Bodywrap is perfect for these guests. It helps our guests with sore, tired muscles, detoxification and slimming; all at once. The FIT Bodywrap is great for anyone because it addresses all these issues.

Q: How have you been able to successfully sell FIT Bodywrap treatments?

A: The FIT Bodywrap is great for us, as we have a local and leisure market looking for pain management, detoxifying and slimming services. We have worked with our PR department to get the word out with press releases and local media. We have invited writers in to experience the service who have later written articles in major local publications about the FIT Bodywrap at our location.

Q: How has your spa benefitted from the FIT Bodywrap?

A: We have created unique services that are not offered at any other spa in our local market. This has been able to create buzz for our location about a service you can’t find at our competitors. Also, since the system addresses all the issues above, we are able to do a variety of services with the wrap.
